Phil Toohey
Phil worked for Ernst & Young from 1988 to 2001 both in the UK and overseas. A qualified accountant, Phil has particular experience of finance processes and systems, business transformation and programme and project management.
Recently Phil has been specialising in Professional Service Automation, assisting businesses in the service industry to optimise their performance and make the most of the technology solutions available today.
Rob Todd
Rob has over 20 years business and consulting experience. Like the other founding members of Adventus, Rob spent a number of years with Ernst & Young and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
With experience primarily in Property, FMCG, Energy, Media & Entertainment, his primary focus has been programme and project management, business transformation, merger integration, and financial reporting and consolidation.
Robert holds an MBA from Cranfield University is a Chartered Management Accountant and a member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
Michael Blythin
Michael has over 15 years business experience gained in operations, finance and IS positions in industry and the major management consultancies. He has worked extensively across Europe and the United States. He has experience of many industries including construction, retail and leisure, oil and gas and commodity chemicals.
Michael specialises in change management and complex company wide systems projects, specifically selections, implementations, re-implementations and merger programmes.
His extensive experiences of these projects allow him to guide businesses to produce practical plans to move them to where they want to be. From this solid foundation, he takes the business through the steps necessary to implement the plan and derive the maximum business benefit.
Andrew Humphreys
Andrew has over 17 years business and consulting experience the last 6 of which have been spent as a senior management consultant within the Finance Sector practice of CMG.
With experience in Insurance, Banking, Life and Pensions, Heavy Engineering, Nuclear Power and Defence Andrew is a rounded Management Consultant whose primary focus is in the management of change, business transformation, programme management and business continuity management.
Andrew holds an MBA from the Bristol Business School, is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and of the Business Continuity Institute.
Brent Merrick
Brent has over ten years business consulting and project management experience gained in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. During much of this time he worked for Ernst & Young and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in the management consulting practice. Brent has also worked as an implementation consultant for Scala, a mid tier ERP vendor.
Prior to consulting Brent undertook various management and financial accounting roles. With this broad experience he has a high level of knowledge of back office and operational processes across a wide range of industry sectors.
Most recently Brent has been managing ERP and CRM selection, procurement and implementation projects. As with most systems implementations, these projects have included a significant amount of business change, with the new technology being used to enable more effective and efficient business processes.
Phil Wood
Phil started his career at PA Consulting Group and spent 5 years in business and IT strategy consulting. Phil then spent 10 years in CIO roles for Glaxo Wellcome, Electrocomponents, and Kelly Services, before returning to management consulting.
Phil has an in-depth knowledge of world class manufacturing and supply, as well as business to business services organisations. With a strategic focus, and an impressive track record of ERP implementations, Phil is experienced in business change delivery programmes. He also is an inspirational presenter, with regular visiting speaker roles at Cranfield School of Management.
