What is different in 5.5?

There are a number of changes between Agresso 5.4 and 5.5 which you may want to take advantage of, and key items are listed below:

Workflow:

Workflow is now far more comprehensive, flexible, and configurable. Agresso have written their own workflow tool in 5.5 to replace the Compello version in Agresso 5.4.

Control, efficiency and compliance can be improved using the new functionality. This flexibility brings additional complexity in set up, and a need to consider the business implications of implementation in detail

Flexi-Fields

Flexi-Fields allow additional data to be stored in Agresso increasing the power of reporting. There are three types and design choices are critical

IntellAgent

IntellAgents are business alerts which can also trigger events in the application improving exception reporting and controls

Security and data control

Data control and security has been improved to allow more flexible tailoring of options
